We have a soft spot for zoo weddings, as we ourselves got married at the Palm Beach Zoo. Imagine our excitement when we received these two amazing weddings to showcase what a fun wedding venue the zoo can be. The memories of our own incredible wedding day came flooding back.
Hosting your wedding at the zoo is a great option for couples that want something a little different. Guests will be treated to the exploring designated areas of the zoo itself and could even have some animal encounters. Definitely a wedding to remember.
Special thanks to Married In Palm Beach Family Members for their beautiful work featured in the article.

Getting Ready with the Animals
Flamingos are a Florida icon! So when it comes time for getting ready on your wedding day at the Palm Beach Zoo, why not opt for a space overlooking their enclosure? You also can’t go wrong with seeing some of the other residents of the zoo, like the spider monkeys.
Stunning Bridal Portraits
There are so many beautiful spots at the zoo to use for your bridal portraits. From tropical elegance to rustic glam and everything in between. You are bound to find the perfect backdrop for your portraits.
Breathtaking Personal Flowers
When hosting a zoo wedding, don’t fight your surroundings. Palm Beach Zoo has a laid-back, beautiful tropical vibe. From the bridal bouquets to the floral wreaths, these personal flowers have a natural and elegant look. Floral courtesy of MIPB Family Member Why Not Wildflowers?.
Dramatic Cave
The Palm Beach Zoo has a wonderful cave in the Tropics of the Americas area. It is perfect for dramatic and beautiful portraits like these ones! With all the nooks and crannies you can find around the zoo, you won’t be lacking for amazing photography spots.
Fun and Whimsical Carousel
Who doesn’t love a gorgeous, vintage carousel? We love this beauty that you can find at the zoo. It’s such a fun way to showcase your personalities on your wedding day.
Ceremony at the Inlay Fountain
The main ceremony area at the Palm Beach Zoo is the inlay fountain. During the day, it functions as the centerpiece of the zoo. For weddings, it’s a stunning backdrop that will delight all your guests. Ceremony design courtesy of MIPB Family Member Why Not Wildflowers?.
Handsome Grooms
Grooms deserve as much love in the portrait department as brides. These grooms have dapper down to a science as they rock their wedding looks.
Gorgeous Tablescape
Your tablescape is one of the most visible parts of the wedding day in terms of guests. This is the spot where they will spend a good portion of the evening. We love how this tablescape feels like a natural extension of the zoo itself. The floral is breathtaking! Floral design courtesy of MIPB Family Member Why Not Wildflowers?.
A Little Romance
After the ceremony, make sure to take some time alone with your new spouse. These precious moments will allow you to process what has happened during the day and cement them into your memory forever.
Dance the Night Away
Celebrating your wedding day should be fun and memorable. What better way to do that then by dancing the night away with your closest friends and family! When envisioning your reception, consider the lighting as well. Lighting definitely sets the mood and this example makes us want to dance.
