A few weeks ago, we worked with some wonderful MIPB Family Members to plan our First Anniversary Party at Marriott Singer Island. Not only was the party gorgeous, but it was filled with the latest trends for your Palm Beach wedding thanks to MIPB Family Member Christine of Dreamday Weddings.

1. Tropical Centerpieces
It’s amazing how a beautiful centerpiece elevates an event. These gorgeous tropical centerpieces showcase tons of flowers and greens that do great in the Florida heat, such as Monstera leaves, Proteas, Orchids, and Pineapples. These are great options for tropical themed weddings!
2. Special Sayings
We are huge fans of Palm Beach designer Lilly Pulitzer, so we wanted to incorporate some of her famous quotes on each table. You can put a spin on this idea for your own wedding. Whether it’s sentimental song lyrics, quotable movie lines, or memorable poems, these can add personal touch to your centerpiece.
3. Live Trees
Live trees at a wedding? Heck yeah! MIPB Family Member Orange Blossoms Floral and Event Design brought this idea to the table and we absolutely loved it! Live trees are a great way to bring the outdoors, indoors.
4. Delicious Apps
We are huge fans of bite-sized foods! This spread by MIPB Family Member Marriott Singer Island was absolutely delicious. Having lots of appetizer options, allows for guests to enjoy a variety of foods without getting too full. Bring on the food!
5. Gorgeous Cake
Umm…how gorgeous is this wedding cake by Earth and Sugar. It featured beautiful, hand painted palm fronds that complemented our tropical theme perfectly. We loved it!
6. Comfy Lounge Area
This fabulous couch from MIPB Family Member Orange Blossoms Floral and Event Design is upholstered in vintage Lilly Pulitzer fabric and was definitely a showstopper! Lounge areas are a great idea for giving guests a place to rest when they need a quick break from the dance floor.
7. Paper Straws
Not only are these paper straws adorable and match the design, but they are eco-friendly! This is especially important when hosting a wedding on or near the beach.
8. Yummy Juice Bar
If you are looking to keep the bar lines short, consider setting up a self-serve juice stand during your wedding. Fill drink dispensers with yummy fruit punch and lemonade for your guests to mix with champagne for some bubbly fun. 9. Tropical Selfie Station
Always a crowd-pleaser, selfie stations are a great way for guests to have some fun. Add in some themed props and an easy hashtag for guests to share their entertaining photos! It’ll be great to see the party from their perspective.

We are huge fans of Snapchat and love all the filter options. So it came as no surprise that we created a custom geofilter for this event! This is an easy detail that your guests would enjoy at your wedding. Talk to your wedding invitation designer about making one that matches your design.
