April is a very meaningful month in our house. It was in April, 5 years ago that we got engaged, 2 years ago that our daughter was born, and 1 year ago that we launched Married in Palm Beach. We actually selected April 4th for our launch date because it was the same date as our proposal anniversary. What better way to start a wedding site than with a significant date in our own marriage? 🙂
Hitting this milestone is a great achievement for us! This site started as an idea years ago and only came to fruition thanks to some dear friends – Angela and Greg Quigley of Married in Milwaukee. They have been a tremendous help getting the site up and running and have provided us with invaluable guidance throughout this journey.
We started the site with no Family Members, a handful of articles, and our vision to build the most comprehensive online wedding guide for couples looking to get married in Palm Beach County. Over the past 12 months, we have published 45 articles, have added 11 MIPB Family Members, and have hit the number 1 spot on various Palm Beach wedding related search results. It doesn’t even seem real as I write it! 😛
Needless to say, we want to celebrate this milestone and we want you to join us. You – yes you reading right now – are the supporters that have helped us grow. So this milestone is as much yours as it is ours!
