We love weddings at The Colony Hotel on Palm Beach. It’s the quintessential boutique Palm Beach venue filled with luxury, a storied history, and gorgeous tropical décor. When we heard they were renovating their event spaces, we knew we had to showcase them!
We got our chance to check out the new spaces a couple of weeks ago. It was absolutely stunning and we think Palm Beach couples are going to fall head-over-heels for the new Coral Ballroom!
All About The Colony Hotel Palm Beach
The Colony Hotel on Palm Beach is a boutique hotel located on Palm Beach just steps away from Worth Avenue and the beach. With this amazing location, it’s no surprise that The Colony Hotel Palm Beach has been a favorite since its opening in 1947.

Ceremony Options
When booking your wedding at The Colony Hotel, you have three options for the ceremony location. You can have it outdoors on the Palm Court, on the Lawn west of The Coral Ballroom, or inside The Coral Ballroom.
If you choose to have your wedding ceremony inside, it will take the event staff about an hour to flip the room. During the flip, your guests can enjoy the cocktail hour in the Solarium or outside on the lawn.
The Solarium
If you are looking for an elegant, intimate space, The Solarium is perfect for you. It is adjacent to The Coral Ballroom with gorgeous windows overlooking the lawn and pool area of The Colony Hotel Palm Beach.
The Solarium is perfect for a beautiful bridal shower or rehearsal dinner with a seated capacity of 40 guests. It’s also great for cocktail hour for wedding receptions taking place in The Coral Ballroom.
The Coral Ballroom
The Coral Ballroom is the main event space at The Colony Hotel Palm Beach. It can be split in half for smaller events of 60 guests seated or opened up for wedding receptions with 180 guests seated.
The space is gorgeous with its stunning chandeliers, floor to ceiling windows, and beautiful floors. One of the great perks of this space is the customizable lighting! You can work with the in-house lighting designer to create the perfect ambiance for your event.
Excellent Food
We don’t make a claim like “excellent food” unless we know it to be a fact. And with The Colony, we do! We’ve been to a plethora of events at The Colony Hotel Palm Beach and at each one the food was delicious. The service is impeccable as well.
The Colony Hotel on Palm Beach caters all of their own events, so there is no need to worry about finding an outside caterer. You can customize your dining options from plated to stations to passed hors d’oeuvres plus cuisines to suite your taste. Delicious!
Location, Hotels, and Parking
One of the biggest perks of The Colony Hotel Palm Beach is its location in the heart of Palm Beach Island. You are steps away from the incomparable shopping and dining of Worth Avenue while also being a short walk to the beach. Your guests will easily find something to do!
Creating a hotel room block at The Colony Hotel on Palm Beach is a seamless process when hosting your wedding on property. The wonderful team at The Colony Hotel can arrange for the room block along with itineraries for out-of-town guests. You can even talk to them about doing a full buy-out of the hotel.
In terms of parking, guests can utilize the street parking near the hotel or you can arrange for valet to be present for your wedding.
