We love new wedding venues, especially unique wedding venues! And it doesn’t get more unique than The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches near downtown West Palm Beach.

This new venue, which opened in March 2017, really blew us away. The thing we think will get couples really excited is the option to get married on the field and the ability to host a HUGE guest list. Read more and check out the amazing photos below by Robert Madrid Photography.

All About The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches

If you are a baseball fan you’ll love The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches, but it’s also a great venue for all couples willing to stretch their imagination. It’s a beautifully designed, brand-new facility with a neutral color palette that works well with any wedding décor. You definitely need to check it out and let the ideas start flowing!

The space can seat up to 1,000 for a sit-down reception and up to 6,000 using the seats of the stadium. They have options for more intimate spaces as well for those with smaller guest lists.

Included in the Rental

The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches is an a la carte venue; therefore, the only thing included in the fee is the space itself. From that base pricing, you can add in various options to create the wedding of your dreams.

Ceremony Options

If you’re looking to have your ceremony and reception in the same spot The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches is perfect. Luckily, there are a few ceremony options to pick from:

Ceremony on home plate with guests sitting in the stands.
Ceremony in the outfield with guests in chairs in the outfield.
Ceremony on the concourse level overlooking the field. We love the view from the concourse overlooking right field!

The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches is also open to hosting the ceremony wherever else you might see fit. You just have to ask!

Various Spaces

The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches consists of four distinct areas – the Field, the Party Deck, the Main Concourse, and the Team Store.

Obviously, the Field is perfect for unique wedding ceremonies for any baseball fan. What’s really fun is having the scoreboard light up with your names on it after you say “I Do!”

The Party Deck is a great spot for cocktail hour with a built-in bar and expansive view of the field. On this level are the Suites as well, which are the perfect location for getting ready before the ceremony. Both the Party Deck and Suites come with their respective furniture, so you don’t have to worry about renting those.

The Main Concourse is ideal for your reception. It completely wraps around the entire stadium, so it can truly accommodate any size guest list. A great perk is that you can select any portion of the concourse to set-up your reception! Though not indoors, there is a good portion of the Main Concourse that is covered just in case it rains. Such versatility!

If you have a small enough guest list (less than 145 guests), you can utilize the Team Store for your reception. This is a great option for those that want a more intimate feel.

Catering and Drinks

The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches has in-house catering and drinks. As with the venue rental, the catering menu is a la carte and customizable to your tastes. Same goes for their drink options. The Party Deck is sponsored by local craft brewery Due South, so you know the beer options will be delicious.

Location, Hotels and Parking

Located just to the west of downtown West Palm Beach, The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches is in the middle of the action. There are plenty of hotels, restaurants and bars just a short Uber or Lyft ride away.

For guest parking, The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches has an extensive parking lot with plenty of room. Using a shuttle would be also be a great idea if you have guests staying in downtown hotels.
